Merrie Carling is the Director of the ACT Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. She has been in this position for 4.5 years. She has worked with children and adolescents for over 30 years, in her present position, in mental health in Queensland and in education in NSW. She is a determined advocate for the mental health of children and adolescents, and is a member of several committees in the ACT which work in regard to the social and emotional well being of young people. Merrie is a member of the Mental Health ACT Executive, and is the major spokesperson for issues surrounding children and adolescent mental health in the ACT. |
