paul_h.GIF (908597 bytes)Paul Hudman, MBBS, MRC Psych, FRANZCP, Certificate in Child Psychiatry, RANZCP, Western Australia, Director Paul Hudman is a Child Psychiatrist and Chairman of the Directorate of Psychological Medicine at King Edward and Princess Margaret Hospitals in Perth Western Australia. He trained in both Western Australia and the United Kingdom and has a broad clinical experience in a variety of settings. He has chaired a number of committees concerned with the development of policy for the child and adolescent mental health sector in Western Australia and maintains an active involvement in this area. His major areas of interest apart from policy development include community based interventions for complex mental health problems and the treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. Paul sees the formation of AICAFMHA as providing a unique opportunity to further the needs of children and families affected with mental health problems through the development of nationwide partnerships with consumers and services and the development of a platform for advocacy for young people with mental health problems.
