| Program Description | A project officer is soon to be employed to assist the Canberra community to promote the mental health of children and young people whose parent has a mental illness. Strategies pertinent to the local community include setting up a reference group of key stakeholders; improving services delivered including increased collaboration. |
| Evaluation Information | An integral component of this project is to build in evaluation. This is still to be developed. |
| Evidence | There is much evidence that children and young people of parents with a mental illness are at increased risk of mental health problems. This initiative has grown out of an ongoing awareness in the ACT of the need to raise the profile of this group with a view to improving how we work together to support them. |
