COPMI Project Update - 8/7/2002

On-line Feedback Forms

You can now provide feedback about the "Draft Principles and Actions For Services and People Working with Children of Parents With A Mental Illness" document online.

There you will find two options. One on-line form is designed to be completed by people representing organisations or agencies and the other is designed to be completed by individuals.

I would be most grateful if you could alert your networks to the availability of the on-line forms and encourage them to complete either the individual or organisational survey. If individuals/organisations within your network are unable to access the forms online, they are still welcome to provide feedback to me directly via e-mail, fax., post or 'phone (details below). Feedback is welcome prior to September 1st 2003.

Pilot testing of worker website

Workers around Australia from a range of fields are currently pilot testing a website designed as part of the COPMI project to meet worker information needs. Workers visiting the site can select information about working with children and families affected by mental illness in the following settings - general practice, schools, early childhood settings, the child protection and justice sectors, mental health, child and family health and youth and community centres. Feedback gained from the pilot testing will be used to develop the site further. We anticipate that the site will be generally available for workers in early 2004.
