The Paediatric & Child Health Division of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), and the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), media release can now be viewed at http://www.aicafmha.net.au/enews/asylum_01.htm . In response to discussions and requests from AICAFMHA Discussion list members, the AICAFMHA Board of Directors resolved at their September meeting to write to Minister Ruddock voicing support and endorsement of the position statements of the RACP and the RANZCP (http://www.ranzcp.org/statements/ps/ps46.htm) .
