INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH
You are invited to be a part of the research project entitled Violence, threats and
intimidation in the lives of professionals whose work involves child protection undertaken
by the De Lissa Institute of Early Childhood and Family Studies,University of South
Australia.
This project seeks to investigate the levels of aggressive and intimidating behaviour
encountered by you in relation to the protection of children and to identify the impact of
this behaviour on your life, health, work and well-being. This research project is being
conducted because of international concerns that professionals who fulfil their legal
obligations to child victims of abuse and neglect are increasingly being subjected to
violence and/or intimidation by clients, their supporters and even by other professionals
and agencies.
If you wish to be involved in this study, please contact Donna Broadhurst by email for a
brief questionnaire to be sent to you. Donna can be contacted at donna.broadhurst@unisa.edu.au
