Eastern Young Carers Program is a Carer Support and Respite Centre initiative for
young people looking after a family member.
Video invitation:
International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates is holding its
XVIth Congress in Melbourne Australia between 26 and 31 October 2002. The Local
Organising Committee wishes to schedule a session that is devoted to promoting videos
made by or with the participation of children and young people. Individuals and groups
who would like to submit a video to be considered for screening are invited to do so no
later than 30 September 2002. Further details.
In June 2002 the Department of Health And Ageing released "An Evaluation of the National
Resource Centre for Consumer Participation in Health." The primary purposes of this
final impact evaluation were to assess the achievements of the Centre in terms of its
goals and objectives; to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Centre in promoting
awareness and utilisation of consumer participation strategies in health, and to make
recommendations about the future development of the Centre. The full report is now

another year. The Department of Health and Ageing has renewed funding through June 2003.
