New video: 'Time For You' - Respite Services for Carers in the area of Mental Health
'Time For You'
A video presented by Julie McCrossin
Being a carer of a family member or friend who has a mental illness can be all consuming. If life is structured around the illness then two people can suffer from the illness instead of one. This video explains what respite care is and encourages carers to use respite care services, look after themselves and to have a life outside caring.
The video was produced by Fran Haarsma Productions for the Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre Southern Region.
For more information about respite care and carer support in your area call 1800 059 059.
