Pre-registration for the joint 5th AICAFMHA and 14th TheMHS conference is available here. There is significant interest being generated in this conference which promises to be a unique event for mental health in Australia.

International Youth Parliament 2004
5-12 July 2004

The International Youth Parliament (IYP) is a dynamic global network of creative young people working for social change. Run by and for young people, it is a global network of the next generation of social change leaders working to build a peaceful, sustainable and equitable world.
The agenda will focus on twelve major areas: education, HIV/AIDS, labour and employment, indigenous rights, migration, trafficking and displacement, agriculture and sustainability, peace building, human rights, health and clean water, youth culture, technology, and global trading systems. Across these areas special attention will be paid to the themes of diversity, equity, governance and basic social services.
Delegates between 18-25 years must apply before 15 January 2004.

NATIONAL PARENTING CONFERENCE

What we are hoping for is to have input from people interested in parenting across Australia into what we put into the conference and how it can achieve discussion, sharing of ideas and mutual support.

The 9th Biennial Australia-Aotearoa (New Zealand) Community Psychology conference is to be held July 5th to 7th at Mills Reef winery on the outskirts of Tauranga. (Tauranga is the main town of New Zealand's aptly named Bay of Plenty. The venue is 2 hours drive from Auckland airport: 1 hours drive from Hamilton airport).
