Incorporation of Infant, Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health Association.
Following several years of ongoing work by the National Steering Committee, the Australian Infant, Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Association (AICAFMHA) Limited has become an incorporated body.
AICAFMHA incorporated on 27th June 2000 and is a registered company under the Corporations Law of South Australia. It is a public company limited by guarantee.
AICAFMHA is overseen by a Board of Directors who represent each state and territory of Australia. The inaugural board meeting was held on Monday 14th August 2000. Board meetings will continue monthly.
AICAFMHA has developed a Charter which details the philosophy and objectives of the association. Broadly, the association aims to actively promote the mental health and well being of infants, children, adolescents and their families and carers.
AICAFMHA welcomes all workers in the fields of infant, child, adolescent and family mental health, workers in related fields, consumers or carers of infants, children or adolescents with mental health issues and any other interested persons to browse the information presented on this website and consider the benefits of membership.
