NSW Commission for Children and Young People's Report of the
Inquiry into the best means of assisting children and young people with no one to turn to.
The Inquiry talked with 240 kids aged 4 to 18 years over two years as well as parents, carers, teachers and professionals working with kids. It found that the most important thing to all kids, regardless of age, gender, cultural or personal background, was relationships.

US Surgeon General releases Action Agenda for Children's Mental Health January 3, 2001
On January 3, 2001, David Satcher, MD, PhD, Assistant Secretary for Health and Surgeon General, released a National Action Agenda for Children's Mental Health, which outlines goals and strategies to improve the services for children and adolescents with mental health problems and their families.
